COVID - 19 Procedures / Information

OFFICE HOURS:  8:00am - 5:00pm
PRESCHOOL TIME 7:00am - 6:00pm (based on your child's schedule)
K-8 SCHOOL TIME: 8:15am - 3:00pm (Please allow additional time to check in.)
 
CHECK IN AND OUT:  A touchless system is provided. Please ensure your information is up-to-date with both those who may drop-off/pick-up  and your emergency contacts.
 
PROTOCOLS:  Are attached below for PS, K-8th, the Waiver and the Summer Camp Protocols.
 
***IMPORTANT - CHILDREN WITH FEVER OR SYMPTOMS SHOULD REMAIN AT HOME.
IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD SUSPECT SYMPTOMS ARE COVID RELATED, HAVE HAD CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WITH COVID, OR HAVE TESTED FOR COVID AND ARE AWAITING RESULTS, OR TESTED POSITIVE, IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE OFFICE AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN.
 
2022-2023 School Year - FALL UPDATE:  School begins 8/17/22 in-person, with revised COVID Protocols in place.

COVID UPDATES June 2022

(Previous COVID UPDATES December 2021, January 2022 and March 2022)

 

CDC AND LAPHD have provided updates in the following areas (see updated documents below for more detail):

 

School Mask Update – for TEACHERS, rather than cloth masks, required to wear disposable medical grade masks, changed daily. May choose to double mask with medical grade one and cloth together.

 

School Mask Update – for STUDENTS, it is strongly recommended (but not required) that students wear upgraded masks. A well-fitting, non-cloth mask of multiple layers of non-woven material with a nose wire is recommended, (like a disposable medical mask), changed daily.

 

ISOLATION CHANGESFor ending isolation: if you have symptoms and test positive for COVID-19 or if your doctor thinks that you have COVID-19…

You must stay home until: 

-At least 5 days have passed (return Day 6) since your symptoms first started (or if

no symptoms, date of positive test)

-AND you have a negative viral COVID-19 test collected on day 5 or later

-AND you have not had a fever for at least 24 hours and 

-AND Your symptoms are improving

JUNE 2022 UPDATE - May return on the 6th day wearing mask for the full 10 days

  OR 

-You must stay home until: 

-At least 10 days have passed (return Day 11) since your symptoms first started

-AND you have not had a fever for at least 24 hours

-AND your symptoms are improving 

(NOTE: Day 0 is your first day of symptoms. Day 1 is the first full day after your symptoms developed.)  

CONCORDIA WILL DETERMINE YOUR RETURN DATE BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED AND APPLYING THE REQUIREMENTS.

 

JUNE 2022 UPDATE - NOW CALLED "CLOSE CONTACT" (instead of QUARANTINE CHANGES)... 

You may come to school:

-If you have no symptoms, 

-If you wear a mask for the full 10 days, 

-AND you have a negative diagnostic test that was collected on Day 5 or later.

  

(NOTE: Day 0 is the day of your last contact (exposure) with the infected person. Day 1 is the first full day after your last exposure.)

CONCORDIA WILL REVIEW THE INFORMATION PROVIDED AND APPLY THE REQUIREMENTS

COVID UPDATES March 2022

Masks Optional both indoors and outdoors. LAPHD still strongly recommends continuing to mask both while indoors and outdoors.  All other protocols are still in place.
