Brian is a graduate of Los Angeles Lutheran High School in the class of 1986. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2008, having served as secretary prior to being named the Chairman of the Board. Brian has been in the commercial insurance claims and managed care industry for nearly 25 years. During his career he has been a claims representative, a sales executive, a sales manager, and currently works as an independent consultant. After graduating from LAHS, he received his undergraduate degree at California State University, Northridge as well as his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Southern California.

Troy is an Emmy-nominated television producer who has worked in all genres of television. Notable projects include the American Music Awards, US Olympic Hall of Fame, Lingo, Killer Karaoke, Extreme Makeover – Home Edition, Utopia, BCS National Championship Game, Thursday Night Football in 3D, and 2 Presidential Inaugurals. He produced and directed a 3D PSA movie (Choices) that shows the wide ranging effects of decisions teenagers make. It is shown in high schools throughout Nevada.
Troy serves as the Deacon at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Granada Hills and is in his second term as the Chairman of the Pacific Southwest District Committee on Constitutions. He also oversees the boys’ volleyball program at Concordia Junior/Senior High School and coaches the varsity team.
Born and raised in Southern California, Troy graduated from Los Angeles Lutheran High School and received his B.A. from California State University Northridge in Television and Radio Production with a minor in Economics. He currently resides in the San Fernando Valley with his wife of 20 years and passes on his great love of sports to his three daughters.
Stephanie is an accounting manager for Allegent Group LLP and has been with the firm for over 30 years. She works with Business and Individual clients, providing a variety of accounting services. She also has experience helping clients with internal accounting problems and enjoys teaching/training both clients and staff on accounting concepts and software.
Stephanie was involved with both Concordia campus (the elementary school in Granada Hills and the jr./sr. high in Sylmar) while her daughter attended both schools. She continues to be involved through her position on the board, working to further the mission of the school. She has been a member of Our Savior’s First Lutheran Church for over 20 years.
Jim has his BA in U.S. History and Education from Northern Illinois University and has been a Principal Technical Writer at Broadcom Corporation since August of 2011. He has been a technical publications manager and writer for over 15 years and has worked for a variety of technology companies including Quantum Corporation and Software Dynamics. His wife, Francine, is a 1992 graduate of LA Lutheran High School (now Concordia Schools) and their children currently attend Concordia Elementary. Jim and his family are members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Santa Clarita, CA.
Doris comes from a long line of Lutheran High School Association supporters. Her mother was an early member of the Federated Lutheran Women, who worked for the opening of the Walter A. Meier Memorial Lutheran High School in Inglewood. Doris, along with her 3 siblings, graduated from the Inglewood campus and her 2 daughters are also alumnae, graduating from the Burbank site. She worked in the various thrift shops that supported Lutheran High School for 27 years serving as Secretary, Treasurer and President of the Guild during most of those years. Doris and her husband founded and operated Ferrel Sales Associates, a manufacturer’s rep business in the plumbing industry for 17 years and she rounded out her working career in the financial industry. Upon retirement, she accepted the position of treasurer of First Lutheran Church of Van Nuys and added her duties as Business Manager in 2006 where she works currently.
Born, baptized, and raised in the Lutheran Church, Ron lived in small rural communities in North Central Iowa until the age of 16 and attended a Lutheran school from grade 2 thru 8. All five of his children have attended Lutheran schools at some point, primarily at the elementary level. His eldest child was in a Lutheran education from preschool through high school (L.A. Lutheran High at the Glendale campus).
Ron graduated with a BS in Engineering Physics from the University of Arizona and married his college sweetheart, Carol. He later received a MA in Technical Management from West Coast University.
Ron’s first job was in the greater Los Angeles area where he’s lived and worked ever since. He’s held numerous positions in local Walther League and Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) churches. He retired in January 2004 and immediately began volunteering with Laborers for Christ, a group that is under the leadership of the Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) whose mission is to build churches, schools, bible camps, parsonages, etc for the LCMS. Ron is currently the organization’s Senior Regional Coordinator for the Western United States.
Clifford “Cliff” Horn graduated from Van Nuys High School and went on to graduate from UCSB with a BA in Industrial Arts Education and was in the Army ROTC as a Second Lieutenant. He served in active duty for the US Army in Germany during the 1950s. After serving, he taught junior high school Industrial Arts and math for the LAUSD. He later graduated from CSUN with a Master's in Education Administration. In 1962, Clifford married his wife Norma. They have three children and celebrated 52 years of marriage last year. An active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Winnetka, Cliff holds servant and leadership positions within the congregation.
Cliff previously served six years on the Board of Directors of Los Angeles Lutheran Jr. & Sr. High School and is now in his third year of a 2nd term the board of Concordia Schools L.A.. His three children graduated from this school and of his three grandchildren, two attended and one still currently attends. Cliff's daughter, Susan Jardim, teaches upper level math at the jr./sr. high.
Cliff recently stated that, "I believe my contributions and strengths to this Board are in networking and in asking questions. I believe strongly in the quality of the teaching here, both in the life in Christ and in the academics, arts, and sports programs."
